Connecting the Dots

We’ve spent our entire careers supporting and growing companies. We built our company based on these experiences and a burning desire to partner with organizations that are motivated to improve their business operations and achieve next-level results. The services we offer aren’t the ones that you wake up thinking about. However, they are differentiators that drive businesses to the next level.

As your partner, we engage with your end-results in-mind, not how many hours we can bill. We are an on-demand resource, with a special set of skills, and we will earn the next project with you based on achieving results.

Process Management

The “moment of truth” is when an employee takes action or makes a decision based on the information and training that they have been provided. A great process management solution can both enable and empower your workforce to take the ideal actions and make the right decisions in all of these moments of truth.

However, most companies struggle with process management. Heck, most companies don’t have documented processes at all. You might be thinking “We’ve done well without this ‘process management thing’, so why would I want to implement that?”. And that is a fair question.

Process management is much more than documenting your processes. It is (1) giving your newly hired employees the tools they need to learn their job and become proficient QUICKLY, (2) ensuring that your entire organization is aware of key process and policy changes IMMEDIATELY, (3) providing tools and teaching your employees to be SELF-SUFFICIENT, and (4) delivering great results CONSISTENTLY to your employees, your customers, and your stakeholders.

Project Management

Anyone can cut a PO for the new, shiny solution. The implementation is the real differentiator. Effective project management is a cornerstone of any high-performing business. However, most companies don’t have dedicated project management resources. And that is understandable…especially if you are a small or medium-sized company. It’s hard enough to find and hire employees to perform your company’s core competencies, let alone finding the people (or the budget dollars) to install project managers.

Any time you implement a new system, a new client, a new process, a new facility, or a new product…it’s a “project”. Some are big and some are small, but they ALL benefit by using an effective project management methodology with an effective project manager helping to “herd the cats”.

So, whether you don’t want to spend the cash for a full-time permanent project manager, whether you find it difficult to find the right person, or whether you’d rather just not worry about those things that aren’t your company’s core competency, we’ve got your back.

Training & Development

According to a 2020 Lorman study, “nearly 59% of employees claim they had no workplace training and that most of their skills were self-taught” and “74% of surveyed employees feel they aren’t reaching full potential at work due to lack of development opportunities”. If you’re a business leader reading this, it’s pretty scary, right?

Think about your own business in this regard. Does your company offer training for new employees? If so, is it effective? If so, how do you know this?

How about your existing employee base? Do you have training modules and programs that help them to “sharpen their saw” in their current role? What about preparing them for their next role? How confident do you feel that, when a key player in your organization leaves, you have the next person ready to step into this role and that they have been trained and mentored to succeed? How deep is your bench, and how much efficiency and effectiveness will be sacrificed when you promote the next person, and they are not yet equipped to succeed?

What is the learning curve for new employees in your organization? Three months, six months, a year? And while they are ramping to proficiency, how frustrated do you think they are? What impact are they having on the satisfaction of the customers that they serve? And what is the bottom-line impact of ramping an unequipped or semi-equipped employee to proficiency?

Developing a training program from scratch can be intimidating, but don’t worry. With Solvx at your side, we can make with you to make this happen. Whether you’re unsure who can train, what to train, where to train, how to develop and deliver your training content, unsure how to measure the effectiveness of your current training program, or (all of the above), we can help.

Content Development

Are you looking to invest in training or process management, but don’t have the resources or the in-house expertise to develop the related content? Training and process content development is not a core competency for most companies. And if it is not a core competency for yours, chances are that you don’t want your employees to be distracted from their core role to develop this content.

And even if you don’t have the resources or the time to develop the content in-house, chances are that you realize the long-term positive impact that effective training and process management can have on your organization. We can help!

The Solvx team has process development and training content development experts who can partner with you to understand your needs, then translate these needs into a finished product. So, whether you need to document 10 processes or 10,000, or whether you are looking to develop traditional classroom training or web-based self-paced training, we are the ideal partner for you.

Reporting & Data Analytics

Great business results are fueled by the insights gathered from data analytics. Being able to measure the performance of individuals, teams, departments, and organizations is critical.

Chances are that you already measure the financial health of your company; both top-and bottom-line financial performance. However, when you fall short of your goals (the “y”), do you understand the causes (the “x”)? And, although you understand the overall financial health of your business, do you have a good grasp on your clients’ satisfaction and employees’ satisfaction and how all of these elements all work together?

The Solvx team has been partnering with companies to leverage data analytics capabilities for decades; transforming data into valuable information and insights, and equipping companies to leverage these insights to improve the overall health of their businesses.

Whether you are looking to implement a quarterly, monthly, or weekly business review process, develop an overall balanced scorecard or your business, build scorecards to measure individual employees’ performance, measure employee or customer satisfaction, and/or implement a pay-for-performance model, we can help.

Journey Mapping

How well do you know what it is like to be a consumer of the goods or services that your company produces? How well do you know what it is like to be in the shoes of a new employee in your company? We all have some perception of what it is like to be in these shoes, but don’t you really want a clear picture?

The Solvx Customer Journey Mapping and Employee Journey Mapping processes will give you a crystal-clear picture of the experiences of these valuable stakeholders…the good, the bad, and the ugly. And trust me, we all have “ugly”.

Leverage this insight to implement improvement initiatives designed to improve the customer experience and the employee experience. And we all know that when you improve customer and employee satisfaction, the financial results will follow.

Continuous Improvement

“Continuous Improvement.” Are these just buzz words, or is this something that your organization does well? When your company is struggling to hit its goals – whether they be financial, employee satisfaction, or client satisfaction-related – do you truly understand the root cause, or is your company only treating the symptoms (like taking cough medicine for pneumonia)? And when you implement solutions, are they long-term, systematic solutions, or do you only see short-term improvements or improve one area at the expense of another?

True continuous improvement is built into the Solvx DNA. It is at the core of everything we do. If you are looking to make those systematic long-term improvements based on understanding and fixing the root causes (“x”) of these issues, Solvx can help.

Whether you are looking for a short-term Six Sigma resource to facilitate and implement improvements, or looking to engrain a continuous improvement culture, methodology, and discipline into your organization, we can get you there.

Business Services

Does your company excel at your core competencies but struggle with some of the supporting functions like reporting and data analytics, training development and delivery, process management, project management, or customer service? If so, Solvx can partner with you to understand the cause of these challenges and work with you to design and implement a custom solution.
